I take great pride in having the power and the privilege of being a modern woman. How I define what it means and looks like to be a woman in a modern world is greatly influenced by my interests, experiences and hobbies. Over the years, I have made it a personal goal and mission to explore new things such as sewing and gardening to curate my life. Gardening has been by far one of the most rewarding and fulfilling yet. I have become a dedicated student to the wonderful world of herbs and flowers. I'd love to share with you a book I added to my library of gardening books---Better Homes and Gardening Herb Gardening.
I discovered a gem in this book at the Memphis Public Library Used Bookstore. I mean there is a plethora of gardening information, recipes for beauty, entertaining, health and so much more compiled in this gardening book. I presumed that it would be since Better Homes and Garden has a reputation of providing great content for the modern woman who lives a very curated and domesticated life. I have already put so many of the ideas to use in making herbal cooldowns for warm summer days, planned out my garden for next season, and will herbal freeze tips very soon on the blog.
