About That Van Life

On Facebook, I always share LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL before I share personal stories of inspiration, well because I believe wholeheartedly that life is indeed beautiful. I always get inspired by  people doing incredible things. People who realize they have the power write their own rules, pursue their dreams and design their lives how they want. My recent source of inspiration, obsession and borderline lifestyle envy is a movement of people challenging traditional life by living in vans. That’s right – a home on wheels.

Whether it’s a part time gig, or a stationary trailer in an effort to simplify life, people all over the country (and world!) are making the move to go mobile – switching up their scenery, working, evolving, and creating along the way.

It has always, I mean always, been a dream of mine since a little girl to buy an RV and take a road trip around the country visiting and touching every tourist attraction in America. Now that my life has completely changed due to motherhood, the dream isn't deferred it's just scaled. I STILL want to take a cross country road trip with Amira in a plushed out van and just BE. We aren't fully committed to that #vanlife. There is a lot to plan out on the open road like WIFI, the nearest Chik Fil A, and animals. Maybe planning a regional road trip in the future is something to anticipate. It's definitely worth scratching off a bucket list wish though.
