I had the pleasure to be in the company of a handsome man at Ciao Bella Italian Grill for date night. It was a wonderful night of great food, wine, and conversation and I'd love to share bits of my experience with you.
After a very long work week, Daniel and I planned an evening out without kids--dinner and salsa dancing. He loves Italian and of course I do. Ciao Bella is one of my favorite local Italian grills in Memphis. The food is always delicious and the staff never disappoints in service and great food recommendations. I asked for one of my favorite waiters for the evening because I knew he would get both of us out of our comfort zones.
Dinner began with warm toasted bread with olive oil & peppers. We ordered the most appetizing appetizer lol--the smoked salmon bruschetta. The crispy bruschetta with warm sundried tomatoes and surprising pop of capers with the savory salmon--omg! So delicious. Wild strawberry spinaci salad was served before our entrees. I live for a great spinach salad with a great pairing of sweet and sour. The balsamic vinaigrette was very pleasant and not overpowering.
We've learned to order two different entrees and split them so we both can try something new. Daniel ordered the Shrimp Boscaiola and I order the Alforno. L O V E L Y!!!!!!!!!!
There is always room for dessert and you have to make room if not for Ciao Bella's Tiramisu. I won't even get into describing how amazing it is. GO SEE FOR YOURSELF!!!!!
