Playing Around with Wigs as Protective Styling

*This is a sponsored post. All opinions are mine*

Last week, I had a personal celebratory moment of being committed to growing my natural hair from a long time pixie cut to hopefully waist length hair. Unfortunately, I didn’t have any bad news or extreme challenges with growing my hair. Well, because, I honestly just left it alone and allow nature and time to take it’s course. Now, I am getting a little anxiety with the “ugly growing out phase” approaching. So, I am thinking of new products and new styles to wear to get me through the “UGOP” sane. I have started to give wearing wigs another try.

Wearing wigs and hair pieces can be an awesome way to protect your hair and give you a break from time consuming daily maintenance. Wigs are also a great way to experiment with a new hairstyle or look. Now, I’ll be completely honest I went to a couple of wig shops here in the city. I didn’t have any luck at all with something that I felt didn’t look well “wiggy”. I had to take to the internet and came across DIVATRESS. Finally, I felt like I was getting close to finding a wig that fit my style. There are so many options with Bobbi Boss Wigs in style, color and texture. I think that's what I love the most--the curly and textured wigs.

I'm sure these styles will not deviate from the way I'm currently wearing my hair. I've really fallen in love with big curly hair. I never would have thought I would be that woman. Playing around with trimming and styling the wigs could totally work and give my natural. I can't wait to play around with some new wig styles.
