As we move forward this rest of this month with the philosophy of directing our focus to making room for the things we love, essentialism and it's complimenting sister, minimalism emerges. Minimalism is not new, however what some people first perceived as a trend, has now become a lifestyle concept. Decluttering, living with less, and freedom from overconsumption. Essentialism is the new minimalism. It is not about scaling back and selling everything you own--- but about the pursuit of less and simplicity and being disciplined in curating experiences in your home and life. I intentionally made essentialism a way of life before I knew that it had become this fascinating lifestyle. Every aspect of my day to day life is fabricated by this concept, even my wardrobe. I share with you all how one essential wardrobe piece, the blazer, can be worn 3 different ways and you can intentionally make time for authentic experiences.
