Last night I had the pleasure of attending Cocktails and Conversation presented by Sisterhood Showcase with my friend and fellow blogger Kim . It was a beautiful evening of networking and candid discussion about what it takes to be a successful business owner. Cocktails and Conversation moderated by Christina Stevison with panelist Myleik Teele, Mahisha Dellinger and Andrea Johnson, the discussion will focus on what truly happens in the world of entrepreneurism, talk about powerhouse of influencers and entrepreneurs.
Capturing candid conversations of gorgeous women who are entrepreneurs and influencers was beautiful experience. The room full of makeup artists, hair stylists, boutique owners, CEOs of tech startup companies and more exuded personal style, and that was a sight.
After the commencement of the networking reception, we all gathered into the theater to engage in a panel discussion on the Art of Entrepreneurship : 10 Things Business School Won't Teach You. Myleik Teele of CurlBox, Mahisha Dellinger of Curls, Andrea Johnson of Bubble Bistro gave very forthcoming professional and personal advice from an expert perspective.
Andrea Johnson offered insight into tapping into your resources, using your village, mastering financial skills and evolving or resolving in business. Mahisha Dellinger gave a professional perspective of balancing work life, using entrepreneurial resources like SCORE and "meeting people where they are" in business. Myleik Teele taught us how to use reading to continue to grow and learn in business, conquering fear, and using your connections in entrepreneurship
I enjoyed meeting everyone and having conversation with both my industry peers and other entrepreneurs. Special Thank You goes to Christina Stevison for starting the conversation and creating dialogue for women entrepreneurs. If you'd like to continue supporting her please experience Sisterhood Showcase this weekend.
