The Making of Concrete Rose Bridal Collection

Now that prom is out of the studio. I've enjoyed it... truly I have. I learned so much about myself as a designer. How far I can push myself. Also, how promising my design future is has been the biggest lesson. The journey I'd like to take now as a designer is creating modern and contemporary bridal looks. Here is a special inside look into the beginning phase of Concrete Rose..

Designing a collection is a process of grabbing inspiration and concepts, sketching looks and sourcing fabrics initially. Concrete Rose design wise will be a mix of structured textured fabrics like sequin and delicate fabrics like rosettes, chiffon, and silk.

Coincidentally, my inspiration for the first few looks of reception wear came during my last client's wedding lol. While in the DJ booth, I grabbed an piece of paper and began sketching. I literally sketched what I would love to see my next bride in if she was at "this wedding".

The looks will be perfect for stylish brides who would love pieces for all of the events during their wedding process. So... casual yet chic engagement wear, beautiful dresses for rehearsal dinners, gorgeous gowns for receptions or wedding day.

I look forward to sharing the entire process with you all as I begin to bring the sketches to life.
