Behind the Seams : J + N Wedding

I invite you to Go Behind the Veil with my first bride of this wedding season. Nykkia, like most of my brides, initially contacted me to design custom flower girl dresses for her wedding. We sat down for an intimate design consultation, discussing color palettes, and the look of the wedding. Then the magic happened..  AFLD was booked to design other wedding looks. Let's Go Behind the Veil...

Sharing the details of the design process is always so very dear to me. But seeing these cute little smiles, giggles and twirls made my heart flutter. Rhonda and Laila were the most adorable little things.

Well you know what happens in Vegas... stays in Vegas. So I don't have any images. HAHA!

As Nykkia got closer and closer to her date, she began thinking of unique looks for her reception. She wanted to party and have a great time and look stylish as well. She sent a couple of bridal jumpsuit inspiration pictures and I couldn't have been more excited. Did I mention to you all how much I am  loving bridal jumpsuits and will do a blog post soon on the trend.

Initially, I made the jumpsuit with a wide pant leg but after our fitting I decided to slim her leg down to flatter her petite frame better.

I loved how she styled the jumpsuit with the ever so popular Badgley Mischka pumps and a simple diamond necklace.

It was such a joy to be a part of Nykkia and Justin's special moments as the wedding designer. I pray they have a beautiful marriage and no need to ask for style, they both have it.
