Go Behind the Veil : Bridal Collection byAndreaFenise

It's almost surreal the experiences I have enjoyed while on this journey as a designer, now venturing into bridal wear. We all know a journey begins by taking a single step. So, the  time is here. It's now...to give you all a closer look into the making of my first bridal collection...CONCRETE ROSE

The collection is inspired by my life and journey and the beauty of love.  I drew inspiration from the idea of the rose that grew from the concrete. The rose that grew from concrete defies the odds. It proves itself to the world to keep trying, and focus on your dreams and ambitions. Not to allow anything to get in the way in life and never lose faith in your self. Being able to withstand. Ultimately the concrete in concrete rose is anything that holds you down.

Concrete Rose is being able to break that beautiful flower through the rough concrete ground and be the strongest, most independent, person you can be. It’s being unique, being edgy while still being you, and living out your dreams while not caring what anyone thinks about it.  This collection is in honor of the Andrea Fenise woman who defies odds yet still loves, who sees the beauty in it all.

Concrete Rose byAndreaFenise is for the bride who is simplistic and modern. She has a bit of edge but yet glamorous. When designing the looks, I kept in mind texture and shapes and the overall look that would still transition into her day to day wardrobe. I fell in love with rosettes while sourcing fabrics. The concrete rose collection is a play on roses using blush, ivory and biscotti rosette sheer fabrics.

The first collection will include pieces for all bridal events like engagement wear, bridal parties, stock the bar parties, reception looks and contemporary wedding gowns.

I'll share a look into one of the pieces from the collection shot by Kim Thomas of KPFusion

"Did you hear about the rose that grew from a crack in the concrete? Proving nature's law is wrong it learned to walk with out having feet. Funny it seems, but by keeping it's dreams, it learned to breathe fresh air. Long live the rose that grew from concrete when no one else ever cared. "
