Behind the Seams of Concrete Rose

Sooooooo I am definitely at the point of no return in a pretty cool way! My fabrics for the collection are beginning to come in and I can now move forward in the next phase of developing my collection *insert heart beat at 1000 mph*.

Now that I have completed the fabric sourcing phase, it's time to make my girls come to life. Make sure what I have imagined in my head will be exactly the same in real fashion life. So, I transfer the fashion sketches into technical sketches with all sorts of notes on what fabric is where, notions, and everything else.

My favorite part, pattern making, no seriously, I actually enjoy it. I don't know if it's the math geek in me or not but I actually love making my own patterns. This phase is probably by far the most critical. While it's all cute to draw pretty sketches in reality the most important part of design is making sure they communicate visually and fit as they are illustrated.

Can't wait to continue sharing this process with you all! It's time for me to move forward and complete the other 4 looks for the collection.

As you all may know producing a collection from the ideas to placement in stores is quite a challenge. I'd love your help in sowing a seed to help me along the way.
